Joe Skipper signs with Beyond Sport Marketing
Pro triathlete and iron-distance champion, Joe Skipper, has agreed a deal with Beyond Sport Marketing to manage his commercial partnerships, sponsorships, media and PR.
Joe Skipper is one of the most talented British triathletes on the circuit currently and is tipped for big things in long course racing. After turning professional in 2011, Skipper has already won Challenge Weymouth, placed 2nd and 3rd at Ironman UK and 6th at Ironman Barcelona.
In 2015 his performances have gone from ‘promising young triathlete’ to ‘major international contender’. In May 2015, Skipper claimed the biggest result of his career at the Ironman North America World Championships in Texas and finished second with a time of 8:16:24. The time was fast and meaningful, the 6th fastest by a British triathlete ever. The bike leg was storming, the third fastest by a professional triathlete at this distance ever.
This performance at Ironman Texas all but rubber stamped Skippers place at the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii where he is targeting a top-10 performance. Joe will also be targeting wins at the ITU Long Distance World Championships, Sweden (27th June) and Ironman UK (19th July) before then.
On the announcement Joe Skipper said:
